Bobby V Signs Lucrative New Deal / ‘Slow Down’ Streamed 18 Million Times

R&B staple Bobby V is on his way to higher ground this year after signing a lucrative deal with Universal Music, home to Rihanna, Drake & Nicki Minaj.

His good news below…

Streams garnered by the singer’s songs on Spotify gave execs at the label good reason to believe his career was still of commercial value and, keen to cash in on his success, prompted them to sign him.

Label boss Tim Kelley beamed…

It’s a blessing that Bobby is my first signing as Head of A&R at SRG-ILS. I’ve been a big brother in his career for years and we had major success with his debut album. Now we have unfinished business. It’s reunion time!

How Bobby feels about his new arrangement?

I watched my parents work from very humble beginnings to make a life for me and my sister. They instilled the values family, hard work and being passionate for all I do. To get a chance to work with Tim again and show everyone what I am about is a true blessing.

The company is undoubtedly hoping to turn his streaming water into wine of the pure sales persuasion with the release of his next album, undoubtedly impressed by numbers pulled in by his earlier hits.
